In its commitment to enhancing environmental responsibility and adopting sustainable energy solutions, the National Cement Company began in 2019 the study and planning work to establish the Waste Heat Recovery (WHR) plant as one of the most important innovative solutions for producing clean energy and reducing carbon emissions.

This project is considered one of the first green industrial projects in the Republic of Yemen, confirming the company's leadership in transitioning towards a low-emission economy and supporting alternative energy trends.
